Approval for Paccal Vet with EMA begins
August 31 2010Moving ahead with its plans for the global registration of paclitaxel for veterinary use, Oasmia Pharmaceutical AB announced today that it submitted its veterinary medicinal product dossier for Paccal Vet to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for evaluation of quality, safety, and efficacy by the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP).

Study shows good tolerance for Doxophos Vet
August 30 2010A study in dogs with Oasmia’s pharmaceutical candidate Doxophos® Vet has been performed in Canada. The aim was to investigate the safety and pharmacokinetics. Suggested doses were very well tolerated. Pharmacokinetic data showed a rapid distribution and no accumulation of the active substance.

Two thirds of the patients enrolled in the study
August 17 2010Oasmia Pharmaceutical reports that two thirds of the total number of patients in the company’s Phase III study of the pharmaceutical candidate Paclical® is now enrolled. In this study, Paclical is compared to the drug Taxol® in patients with ovarian cancer.
